Radical Resilience : Engineering Stability in an Age of Volatility

Letter from the Secretary-General

Dear Delegates and Faculty Advisors,

HI CAN U SEE THIS CHANGE It is my honor to welcome you to the sixth edition of Delhi Private School Model United Nations (DPSIMUN), taking place from Thursday, September 24th, 2026, to Saturday, September 26th, 2026, in Tema, Ghana. Over the years, DPSIMUN has grown into one of Ghana's most prestigious and anticipated high school Model United Nations conferences, bringing together students who are passionate about diplomacy, leadership, and global affairs.

My name is Prasanna Chandankhede, a senior at DPS International Ghana, and it is my privilege to serve as your Secretary-General for DPSIMUN 2026.

To me, Model United Nations is far more than a conference. It is an opportunity to step beyond your everyday school life and into the role of a diplomat, policymaker, or global leader. For three days, you will represent not only your assigned country or delegation but also the values, priorities, and perspectives that shape international decision-making.

This year, our committees will explore issues that define the world we live in today. From the rapid advancement of AI and the ethical questions it presents, to climate change and environmental sustainability, to emerging security challenges such as the growing militarization, DPSIMUN 2026 aims to inspire meaningful discussion and innovative solutions to problems that demand international cooperation.

Choosing this year's theme was no easy task. As the Secretariat explored countless ideas, one common thread continued to emerge: instability. From the ongoing conflicts around the world to the unprecedented rise of powerful artificial intelligence systems, our generation is growing up in an era defined by uncertainty and constant disruption.

With this in mind, we are proud to present the theme of DPSIMUN 2026:

Radical Resilience: Engineering Stability in an Age of Volatility

As we count down to September, I look forward to welcoming each and every one of you to DPSIMUN 2026. The Secretariat and Organizing Committee have dedicated countless hours to creating an unforgettable conference, and we are committed to delivering an experience that is intellectually engaging, professionally organized, and truly memorable.
