Press Corps

Committee Overview

DPSIMUN 2026 introduces the Press Corps, the reporters writing the first draft of history! With every debate, deal, and scandal to cover, delegates will chase the story as the conference unfolds. New to MUN? This is where you learn the ropes.

The International Press Corps (IPC) serves as the voice and record of the event through news reporting, photography, interviews, and multimedia coverage, documenting committee proceedings and capturing key moments.

Under "Radical Resilience: Engineering Stability in the Age of Volatility," the Press Corps explores how truthful reporting and ethical journalism strengthen public understanding during global uncertainty.

MEET THE CHAIRS

CHAIR

Angel Sarah Paul

I’m Angel Sarah, and I’m excited to be serving as the Chairperson of the Press Corps at DPSMUN. This will be my fourth MUN conference and my first time taking on the role of Chair. To me, Press Corps is about more than simply reporting what happens in committee. It is about noticing the moments others may miss, asking thoughtful questions, and turning debates, interviews, and discussions into stories that people will remember. I hope to encourage every journalist to be confident, creative, and willing to explore different styles of reporting throughout the conference. I’m looking forward to working with the team, reading your work, and seeing how each of you brings your own perspective to DPSMUN.
